Anita Michelle “Shelly” (Prewitt) Bruton, 58 years of age entered into rest on Feb. 14, 2024. Born to Lester and Norma (Richmond) Prewitt on Oct. 16, 1965, in Columbia, MO.

Shelly was married on Dec 2nd,1989, to Richard Bruton and to this union were born three sons Brice, Cory, and Toby all of Wheaton, MO.

Shelly went to school and graduated from Wheaton in 1983. She worked at Justin Boot for 16 yrs. She then went to work at EFCO until 2010. Shelly enjoyed making cakes for friends and family and loved doing crafts and reading.

Shelly received Jesus as her Lord and Savior at a young age and was a member of Ridgley Southern Baptist Church.

She is proceeded in death by both her parents, two brothers, one niece, one sister-in-law and one grandson.

She is survived by her husband Richard Bruton of Wheaton, three brothers Larry (Diane) Prewitt and Brian (Lisa) Prewitt of Exeter, MO and Howard Prewitt of Wheaton, MO. Two sisters Jeannie Henderson of Wheaton, MO and Renea (Gary) Corn of Cassville, MO. Three grandsons Kylen and Kambryn Bruton of Summers, AR and Owen Bruton of Tontitown, Ar. One granddaughter Braelyn Mellow of Cassville, MO. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and other family members.

Graveside Service will be at Chitwood Cemetery with Scott Mitchell officiating, at 11 am Sat. Feb 24th, 2024, three miles south of Wheaton.

Arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home and Crematory in Cassville, Missouri.
