Robin Lanette Kier, age 61, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at home surrounded by her loved ones.
Robin, daughter of Charles and Alice Jean (Crane) Reed, was born on February 12, 1963, in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She graduated high school in Grove, Oklahoma, and subsequently graduated from Oklahoma A and M with associate degree in general studies then went on to Missouri Southern State University in 1987, where she obtained a BS in Elementary Education, and was the homecoming queen in 1986. She received her Master’s Degree in Leadership Ethics at John Brown University in 2004. Robin began working as an admissions counselor at Crowder College in Neosho in 1987. Prior to retirement Robin received an outstanding service award in September of 2014. She retired in 2015 as Student Services Coordinator after 28 years at Crowder College. Following her retirement, she enjoyed spending time on the family farm with her grandson Radley and her dogs, Birdie and Daisy. She was a lifelong Oklahoma State University fan and loved reading and music. She was saved at a young age and was proud member of the United Methodist Church in Washburn.
She married Don Kier on September 26, 2003; he survives.
Additional survivors include her father, Charles Reed and his wife Susan, of Warner, Oklahoma; one son, Reed Spencer and his wife jade, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one daughter, Raven Spencer Neal and her husband Corey, of Cassville; one stepson, Jacob Kier and his wife Vickie, of Shawnee, Kansas; one step-daughter Heidi Scheidler and her husband Stefan, of Piggot, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Radley, Luke, Jake, Sadie, Asher and Nova; one brother, Travis Reed and Da3na of Texas; two nephews, Trevor and Brodie Reed of Texas.
Robin was preceded in death by her mother, Alice.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Crowder College Foundation or the Robin Kier Scholarship Fund.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 11 am at the Cassville Crowder College.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home and Crematory.
