Duane Stockton, 84, of Jenkins, Mo. passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at his home.
He was born January 28, 1940, in Cato, Mo., the son of Clyde William and Ruby Ada (Ennis) Stockton.
Survivors include his wife, Maxine Smith; two daughters, Karen Atnip and her husband David of Cassville, Mo. and Ramona Paschetti and her husband John of Pittsburg, Kan.; two sisters, Shirley Gallup and her husband Leonard of Higginsville, Mo. and Randa Poppe of Sarcoxie, Mo.; seven grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents; a son, Jake Stockton and a brother, Arlis Stockton.
He grew up in the Cassville, Mo. area and attended Cassville High School from where he graduated. He was employed as a machinist at Precise Machine and Manufacturing in Cassville, a supervisor at Preddy Machine Shop in Cassville and worked for the Mo. Department of Conservation in forestry. Duane and Maxine graduated from the Lynchburg Bible Institute in Lynchburg, Virginia.
Services were held Friday, March 15, 2024 at Community Faith Chapel in Cassville, Mo., under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Loy Bowen and Brother Lonnie Stockton conducted the services. Burial was at Mineral Springs Cemetery in Cassville, Mo.
