Southwest High School will host a volleyball jamboree featuring four area teams on Tuesday in Washburn.

Along with Southwest, Hurley, Purdy and Wheaton will be participating. Admission is free but the school is asking parents, guardians, students, family members and fans to bring one canned good in lieu of the price of entrance.

The canned goods will be donated to a local shelter. The gym opens at 4 p.m. Tuesday, and action begins at 5 p.m.

Teams will play three sets per match with the scoreboard beginning 10-10. The concession stand will be open.
