A Cassville man is facing two felony charges after allegedly inappropriately touching two underage victims.

According to a probable cause statement filed by Det. Abby Parsons, with the Barry County Sheriff’s Office, on June 24, Parsons took a report of sexual assault involving two juveniles.

During separate forensic interviews on July 1, two juveniles allegedly disclosed Griffis had used his hands and fingers to inappropriately touch them multiple times at residences in Barry County.

Since July 16, Parsons said she has attempted multiple times to schedule an interview with Griffis, and he has not returned any phone calls since Aug. 6.

A warrant has been issued for Griffis’ arrest, and his bond is set at $75,000, cash only.
