Spooky sights and wild frights abound this Halloween season, and nowhere moreso than in Shell Knob.
Shell Knob in the Spotlight (SKITS) will put on its fall play, ‘Scary, Scary Night,’ on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Bringing all the comedy and drama residents familiar with the theatre group would expect from a SKITS show, this one had a twist. Shell Knob in the Spotlight is proud to present its first-ever Musical.
Join SKITS in the Welsley Funeral home, where things have gotten a little sideways. It’s one thing to have bodies in a morgue — but what do you do when they start moving around?
What if they start dancing? Those curious will have to see for themselves.
With a cast of local talent from all around the area and performed with live music, this full production musical will have attendees on the edge of their seats, and if not careful, possibly tied up to a seat. ‘Scary, Scary Night’ is a family show that is sure to be a delight for all ages, featuring some of peoples’ favorite ghosts.
All audience members are encouraged to wear a costume to the show, prizes will be awarded for best costume.
SKITS is also excited to present local artwork from Athea Nurton, the featured artist for this production. Her work will be exhibited throughout the auditorium. Tickets are available online at skitsmo. com/tickets and will also be available at the door.
Showtimes are Friday and Saturday at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Central Community United Methodist Church in Shell Knob.
