A Cassville man was injured and subsequently arrested following a wreck at 3:46 p.m. on Friday on Highway 76, four miles northeast of Shell Knob.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Anthony Tolbert, 24, of Cassville, was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado eastbound when his vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree.

Tolbert suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Cox Monett Hospital.

He was not wearing a safety device, and the vehicle was totaled.

At 5:07 p.m., Tolbert was arrested for misdemeanor driving while intoxicated and no insurance. He was booked and released.
