Arthur Rae Barrett, 94, of Shell Knob, Mo. passed away Monday, November 18, 2024 at his home.

He was born August 31, 1930 in St. Louis, Mo. the son of William Edward Barrett Senior and Mable Bokamper, who preceded him in death.

Also preceding him in death was his wife, Marilyn; one stepson, Randy Huddleston and one stepdaughter, Jeannie Evans.

Survivors include three sons, Art Barrett and his wife Angela Martyn of Pleasant Hill, Calif., Mitchell Barrett and his wife Cheryl of Eastman, Ga., and Michael Henley of San Jose, Calif.; two daughters, Janice Butler of Visalia, Calif., and Nancy Frisbee of N. C.; one brother, William Edward Barrett, Jr. of Shell Knob, Mo. and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He grew up and attended school in St. Louis, Mo. graduating from Normandy High School. He served in the United States Marines.

He worked in quality assurance for FMC in the California Bay area. He also worked for Singer and was a plant manager at Sefton, Container Corp of America.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 1, 2024 at Peace Lutheran Church in Shell Knob, Mo.

Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
