Seligman’s 1% sales tax generated $11,001.46, down $523.63, the second consecutive drop after three months of gains. Like Cassville, it was Seligman’s the second highest January total on record. Countywide taxes followed a similar pattern.
Barry County’s two sales taxes supporting its general fund at 1.5% received $263,835.41, down $20,683.31, or 7%, from last January. It was still the third-highest January total on record.
