Home News 7 Exeter students make honor bands 7 Exeter students make honor bandsFebruary 4, 2025News Seven Exeter students were selected recently to perform in Southwest Missouri District Honor Band. Biaktha Hnem was selected via audition as second-chair flute in the high school honor band, while Taylor Mattingly was selected as third-chair trumpet in the high school conference band. Jacob Stevenson was selected via audition as fifth-chair trumpet in the seventh-grade honor band, while Exeter had four eighth-graders successfully audition for honor band: Addison Arivett sixth-chair clarinet; Preston Lee, 20th-chair clarinet; Ruth Jones, second-chair Euphonium; and Gabe Fuller, first-chair tuba. District band members are selected from more than 40 schools of all class sizes in Southwest Missouri.
