A Cassville woman was injured on Wednesday in a wreck at 3:25 p.m. on Highway 248, one mile east of Cassville.

A Cassville man was injured on Sunday after being struck by an ATV at about 6:50 p.m. on private property on Farm Road 1085, one mile north of Cassville.
A man was stabbed to death on Cassville Saturday night. The Cassville Police Department has confirmed Andey Hunter, of Cassville, was stabbed to death at the storage units at 1200 Old Highway 37.

In the early morning hours Friday, seven inmates escaped the Barry County jail, and six have been captured. The Barry County Sheriff’s Office is working leads to find the last escapee, Mario Che-Tiul.
Two Cassville teens died Wednesday night in a motorcycle wreck at 8:31 p.m. on Highway 248, one mile east of Cassville. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Rylan Wilson, 19, of Cassville, was driving a 2017 Harley Davidson Breakout motorcycle eastbound when the vehicle lost control, ran off the right side of the roadway and struck an embankment, ejecting both occupants.
The Benton County Sheriff’s Office in Arkansas has confirmed the body of Dr. John Forsyth, missing Cassville ER physician, was located Tuesday afternoon in Beaver Lake.
The Cassville boys and girls track and field teams are competing in the Class 3 MSHSAA Track and Field Championships Friday and Saturday.

A physician at Mercy Hospital is considered missing after not arriving for a shift in Cassville on Sunday and police finding his vehicle abandoned. John Forsyth, 49, of Republic, is 5-11 and 180 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes, possibly wearing a black shirt and blue/gray pants. He was last seen at 7 a.m. on Sunday.
The Cassville Police Department is investigating the death of an individual after the person was located in a vehicle following a motor vehicle accident. According to Sgt. Donnie Privett, with the Cassville Police Department, officers were dispatched to the area of West 10th Street and County Farm Road, across from Ken’s Collision Center, for a motor vehicle accident at around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
