
Barbara Helen “Meemz” Andrews, 88, of Cassville, Mo., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at Cox Hospital in Monett, Mo. Born on May 2, 1936, in Carthage, Mo., she was the daughter of Clifford and Thelma (Scantlin) Pace who preceded her in death.

cCracken Roy “Gene” McCracken, 79, of Springfield, Mo., passed away Monday, October 7, 2024, in his home in Springfield, Mo. under the care of Cox Springfield Health Hospice Unit.

Restored, improved Nativity scene returning to cemetery hill in Cassville The hill of Oak Hill Cemetery will once again be lit with the life of Jesus this holiday season. Thanks to a donation by First State Bank of Purdy, the Cassville Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the iconic Nativity scene will come to life renewed on Nov.
The Community Faith Chapel, located at 13372 Highway 248, will host a Trunk or Treat on Oct. 31 from 5-7 p.m.
