An Exeter man is facing four felony charges after allegedly breaking into a business twice through the ceiling and stealing more than $7,300 in cash and property. Austin Byron, 26, of Exeter, is charged with two counts of second-degree burglary, stealing $750 or more and first-degree property damage.

The South Barry County Ambulance District scheduled meetings will be moving from the second Tuesday of each month to the second Wednesday of each month. The District has also started moving them to different parts of the district to be available and in the areas it serves. The Barry County Sheriff's Office responded to 172 calls for service for the week of Dec. 18-24.

The Barry County Commission will host its annual budget hearing at 9 a.m. on Jan. 18 at the Barry County Courthouse. The meeting is open to the public.

The Cassville YMCA will host Winter Break Camp for local students in January. The Winter Break Camp is Jan. 2-5, 2024, and is $60 per week for members and $100 per week or nonmembers.
