Rosie Mae Walker

Rosie Mae Walker, 92, of Wichita, Kan., passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at Sandpiper Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Wichita, Kan. She was born July 5, 1930, in Washburn, Mo., the daughter of James and Jessie Hayworth who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Roger Walker; one son, Randy Walker; three brothers and three sisters. Survivors include two sons, Ronald Walker and his wife Carol of Wichita, Kan. and Robert Walker and his wife Teresa of Wichita, Kan.; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. It was while working at Cessna Aircraft Company that she met Roger. She later attained her CNA certification and the remaining forty years of her life was spent taking care of others, which she loved doing. Services were held Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Reverend Jim Erwin conducted the services. Burial will be at Washburn Prairie Cemetery in Washburn, Mo.passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at Sandpiper Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Wichita, Kan. She was born July 5, 1930, in Washburn, Mo., the daughter of James and Jessie Hayworth who preceded her in death.
