Eldon Eugene Skinner, 76, Purdy, Mo., passed away at home on Friday, August 23, 2024. He was born on December 31, 1947, in Chouteau, Okla., the son of Ellard and Lila (Smith) Skinner, who preceded him in death.

Xia Shoua Khang, 64, passed away July 26, 2024 in Springfield, Mo., after a valiant battle with chronic kidney disease. He was born January 18, 1960 in Thakhek, Laos to Chong Xeng Khang and Choua Thao.

Donald Ray Harrell, 90, passed away on August 6, 2024. He was born January 5, 1934, the tenth of eleven children born to Charles Aud and Daisy Jane (Creason) Harrell, who preceded him in death.

Charles Taylor Ward, 71, of Cassville, Mo., passed away Sunday, July 7, 2024, at his home. He was born in Cushing, Okla., on May 10, 1953, the son of Slyvia Gough, who preceded him in death.

Eldon Frank DePew, 84, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2024, at his home in Shell Knob, Mo. He was born in Granite City, Ill., on September 7, 1939, to Eldon J.

aunders Wilma Ruth Saunders, 91, of Cassville, Mo. passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at Mercy Hospital Northwest Arkansas in Rogers, Ark.

Leroy C. Utter, 67, of Joplin, Mo., finished his earthly mission and departed this life on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Ark.

Neng Yia, son of Vam Thoj Yaj and Txiab Xyooj was born in the province of Houaphanh, Laos in 1945. He is their fourth child out of ten children. He lived a simple life with his family until 1964 when he became a soldier in the Secret Wars of Laos. He served until 1975 achieving the rank of Lieutenant.

Jeff Reed, age 60, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away on August 11, 2024. The son of Gary “Cotton” and Connie Hilburn Reed, Jeff was born on April 12, 1964, in Monett.
