Hutch and his buddy, Starsky, were found tied to the Haven sign at the end of our road with an electrical cord. Upon intake, we discovered Hutch had contracted Canine Parvovirus because he had not been properly vaccinated as a puppy. He required hospitalization at the vet. Hutch beat the virus and is ready to go to a home where he will be properly cared for and spoiled rotten. He is such a sweet dog who has a lot of love to share with his new family! Hutch is a tan colored pit bull mix Born on Jan. 17. Adopters can complete an adoption application at www.havenoftheozarks.org/adopt. No appointment is needed for adopters. Meet Maverik! This handsome black and tan beagle/ bloodhound mix needs a home. Maverik is great with children, loves any toy that squeaks, is a great car rider and is accustomed to a leash. He is still young and could benefit from some training, but he does know the commands down, sit and stay. He gets excited to see people and is very loving.

Lulu and her brother, O.J. (Odin), were abandoned in the country, but fortunately, they were found by a nice human. They are blackmouth cur mixes, date of birth March 4. They are good with dogs, cats and children. They are crate trained and love to play in the water. They would love to find a loving home and have a short stay in the shelter.

Beverly and her sister, Fay, were abandoned on a country road. They are both Dachshund/Mixed Breed (Small). Fay is black and Beverly is brown. They are both very friendly girls. Aledo is one of 8 pups found dumped on the road. He is a black lab mix born on April 17. These pups deserve a great family. They will be fixed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and ready to go home with a new owner on July 17.

Eleanor needs a human hero! She is very sweet and gentle and does great with other dogs. She is possibly a lab/ pit mix. She is black and white with some brown on her face, and the white patch above her nose is just the cutest. Her date of birth is estimated as Jan. 15, 2024.

Mayo is just the sweetest girl. She came in covered with ticks and was starving. She is now thriving and learning that people aren’t as scary as she first thought. In fact, hugs and cuddles are her favorite. Her breed is unknown, and her estimated DOB is Jan. 18, 2024.
