Barber becomes 1st CHS student to complete tech apprenticeship
Bentley Barber is the first Cassville High School student to complete the Registered Youth Apprenticeship program through the U.S. Department of Labor Office of Apprenticeship. Serving as a Technology Intern (IT Generalist), Bentley completed 2,000 hours of on-the-job training along with required coursework.
News Briefs, April 29
The Cassville school district is gearing up for a summer full of learning at summer school. “Traditional Seated Summer School: Launch into Learning” will be May 18 to June 12, from 7:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., offered to incoming kindergarten to current eighth grade students.

A Cassville boys track and field record first set in 1986 and tied in 1996 has officially fallen in 2026.

Sights set on 14
The Cassville girls soccer team has a chance to make history this season. At 9-3 after bagging a second 1-0 victory over Monett this season, with the April 21 victory coming via an extra-time goal by Makayla Connolley, the Lady Wildcats have five regular-season games remaining and the possibility of topping the 13-win 2024 season by one.

Cassville super brings suit against MSHSAA
