Smoke poured from the engine compartment of Exeter resident Payton Beck’s vehicle, disabled during action in the compact class at the Cassville Rotary Demolition Derby on Saturday.

Vehicle wrecks into 9-1-1 communications tower
A Cassville man was injured on Sept. 3 in a wreck at 11:55 a.m. on Main Street in Cassville, with the vehicle coming to rest after striking the Barry County E9-1-1 communications tower.
