The Barry County Sheriff's Office responded to 215 calls for service for the week of March 18-24. The CAD events created by central dispatch are the Calls for Service Barry County Officers respond to every day, included in those calls are alarms, assaults, burglaries, domestic disturbances, DWI's, stealing, harassment, medical issues, paper service, prisoner transports, suspicious persons, traffic stops and warrant service. Nude man breaks into home

A Cassville man is facing seven felony charges after allegedly breaking into a Barry County home and assaulting two people while in the nude. Kory Hilburn, 19, of Cassville, is charged with first-degree assault (attempted murder), first-degree burglary, abuse of a child, two counts of armed criminal action and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

Pair in stolen car arrested

Two Barry County residents have been charged with felonies after allegedly being found in a stolen vehicle containing stolen property. April Ortiz, 39, of Cassville, and Randy Zonghetti, 38, of Washburn, are each charged with felony stealing.
