Haven

Haven of the Ozarks Pet of the Week, April 17
Who needs some Gin? Gin’s estimated date of birth is May 15, 2022, and she’s a black and brown Rottweiler. Gin and Tonic are sisters who were found and brought to us as strays. Tonic has found her home, but Gin is still looking for her people. Gin can be timid at first, but she warms up to new people within a couple of days, and when she sees somebody she knows approaching, she wags her whole entire butt.

Frank has been in the shelter over 280 days and needs to find a home. Before arriving at the Haven, he had been shot in the face, but he is perfectly fine now. Frank is a sweet, mellow dog who would do well in any home. He can start out a little nervous when he first meets you but has never shown an ounce of hostility towards anyone or anything! Frank loves to have his ears scratched, is house trained and great riding in the back of a car.

Rooster recently spent some time in foster care due to the cold weather. Here is what the foster family had to share: Rooster, first and foremost, just wants love from his humans. He loves our kiddos (ages 3 and 5) and greets all of us with a gentle kiss each morning when we wake up.

Meet Girly! She has been up for adoption in the Haven of the Ozarks shelter for over 570 days. She is accustomed to leash walks, loves all the attention you can give her, and seems to get along great with other dogs. She is still very active and could use some training to not jump. Due to this, we suggest a home with only older children. Girly has so much love to give and craves a family of her own. She would thrive having an active lifestyle which may include walking, swimming, hiking, playing ball, etc. She might act ferocious behind the chain link fences of the Haven, but Girly really is just a big wigglebutt with the biggest smile. Her estimated date of birth is July 12, 2018, and she is about 49 pounds. All Haven of the Ozarks Animal Sanctuary pets are fixed, up to date on their vaccinations, and microchipped. The Haven is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., seven days a week.
