Purdy declared lead-free after pipe inventory
City officials discuss fence dispute between neighbors The Purdy City Council received good news on its lead pipe inventory during its October board meeting. Kevin Cook, public works foreman, reported the city’s review of water pipes in its limits had been finished ahead of the schedule set by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.
City of Cassville to inspect water lines for lead
In July, the city of Cassville will begin a targeted inspection program of public and private water service lines. The program will consist of hydro-excavating two small inspection pits on either side of the water meter and then recording the pipe size and type of pipe materials.

Cassville awards bid to begin water line inventory The city of Cassville has awarded a contact to begin a pipe inventory, aiming to identify and replace any lead pipes within the city. The inventory project — which involves teamwork on federal, state and local levels — has been awarded to All Clear Pumping and Sewer, based in Centertown.
