Few teams are as young as the Wheaton volleyball squad. With no seniors and only three juniors, the team of 20 is focused on long-term goals and development coming off a trying 3-21 season last year.
Hayden Royer, a 2024 graduate of Wheaton High School, has received the Olin J. Brattin and Jim and Shirley Cook scholarships, administered by the Community Foundation of the Ozarks.
Mallory Kelly, of Wheaton High School, was among the 85 students from across Missouri who participated in the Missouri Electric Cooperative CYCLE (Cooperative Youth Conference and Leadership Experience) program. The conference was held July 16-19, 2024 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Jefferson City.
